I've been running for 9 days now, and every time I turn my back, I can see them... I can smell them ... I can almost feel them crawling closer towards me each and every minute...

They stalk me day and night, day after day, no matter where I try to lay my head to rest, I cannot shake the fear of the Shou Lie Yin Ying slicing my throat and disemboweling my son as I sleep...

I feel like a broken man... When I'm not digging a shuriken from my thigh, I'm changing Setsuna's diapers, or begging any mother I can to feed him. I know I cannot continue like this forever... The Shadow Hunters will eventually kill me, but I can at least save my son...

It hurts to think that I may have to abandon my only living son, but to keep him alive... This may be my only option... I sometimes shed tears of Sorrow... not wishing to part with the only part of my life that matters... but whenever I meet my young son's eyes, I cannot help but smile ... even as the tears fall."



Well, this took longer to draw than to color, but I had fun doin both. *laughs* I should explain more about the picture though ...

The Red Circle represent's Japan's Flag, Japan being 'The Land of the Rising Sun', as Shen-Mao a Japanese man ( or ... boy at this age I guess... )

The Blood everywhere represents the Kusanagi family god, Adamesk. A blood god who rules over their lives ( Yes, he is an evil god. Which is why he's called a blood god )

The Black Cloak that disguises Shen-Mao is a standard cloak that belongs to members of the Shou Lie Yin Ying. The red streaks across the front of the hood and crest of the back both say Xue, or 'Snow' in Chinese. Xue was Shen-Mao's mate and the current leader of the Shou Lie Yin Ying.

Shou Lie Yin Ying ( from what I recall ) Translates out into 'To Hunt' and 'Shadow' which, I'd assume can immitate 'Shadow Hunter' if used together, I hope at least...

And don't read too deeply into it, but the Three Black Streaks could represent the number of daughters Shen-Mao has, just as the two white streaks trapped between them represent his sons, thus ... with Xue, Shen-Mao had 5 kittens ... All at once sadly...
